Welcome to openAOS.
This is a place for the community interested in hacking their Archos devices to do more than just play media content. For this we set up a subversion repository, mailing lists, a wiki, an issue tracker, and an IRC channel. To find out more about those things read the development section.
For the casual user that just wants to get more out of his Archos 5 or Archos 7 there should be first things to try soon. Thankfully Archos have made sure that it is virtually impossible to render your unit useless by installing some SDE based software. To stay informed please consider joining the announce-mailing list; where we will from time to time announce new interesting developments.
